Teaching & Coaching

Alongside their concert activity, Zoia Sorel and Terézia Vargová work as experienced pedagogues and artistic coaches. Their work unites a high level of instrumental expertise with deep musical understanding and a supportive, structured learning environment:

Individual Lessons

Individual lessons are offered for violin, viola and violoncello. Teaching is tailored to each musician — from motivated beginners and advanced students to professional players. Focus areas include sound production, technical refinement, stylistic interpretation, repertoire building and confident performance on stage and in auditions.

Chamber Music Lessons

Astoro works with duos, trios, quartets and larger ensembles. Chamber music lessons include interpretation, intonation and balance, rehearsal strategy, communication within the ensemble and shaping a unified artistic concept. Both hobby groups and professional ensembles receive guidance appropriate to their level and goals.

Artistic Coaching

Beyond instrumental lessons, Astoro offers a broader coaching approach that supports the entire artistic process.
This includes:

  • effective practice methodology

  • preparation strategies for concerts, auditions and competitions

  • stage presence and performance confidence

  • avoiding common technical and interpretative pitfalls

  • long-term artistic development and planning

The aim of coaching is not only to improve playing, but to develop clarity, focus and a sustainable musical routine — for both soloists and ensembles.
